Global City Auto Sales, Inc. (GCASI), operating under the business names of  “Ford Global City” and “Ford Manila”, currently has the exclusive dealership of Ford Group Philippines, Inc. in the cities of Taguig, Manila, and the whole island group of Mindanao in Southern Philippines, for which it already has two dealership sites in the cities of Davao and Cagayan de Oro.

Global City Auto Sales, Inc. was incorporated on February 19, 2003 with its registered address at Block 15 Ford Global City Building, Rizal Drive, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila. Its registered primary purpose included buying, selling, marketing, at wholesale or retail, cars, spare parts and accessories, and rendering related services such as vehicle repair and maintenance, car lease, used car sales, detailing, body paint and repair.  Ford Manila, a registered branch of GCASI, was launched in February 2004. Its service operations started in April 2004.  It is expected to be the top dealer servicing the automotive needs of consumers in the cities of Manila and Caloocan.

Ford Global City, the Company’s flagship dealership, opened its doors last September 1, 2005. The company’s recently completed 7-storey building in Bonifacio Global City.  The building is located in a 3,000 sqm lot and will boast a huge showroom and a service area capacity of over 100 units at any one time.  It will have an oval bar, a customer lounge, wireless Internet connection, a mini-theater, and other facilities to cater to its customer’s needs.

The company is a part of a group that recently acquired in December 2003 the dealership rights from Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. to operate two dealerships located in Libis and Quezon Avenue, both in Quezon City under the name Nissan Gallery. The Group owns the exclusive rights from Clear Defense USA to distribute anti-smash, anti-explosive security glass laminates and from Valugard USA to operate and to offer automotive preservation products (rust proofing, paint and fabric protection, auto body repair and painting jobs, etc.) in the Philippines.  The group also has business ties with a company having exclusive distributorship in the sale of maintenance and spare parts and lubricants.  The stockholders / business partners in the above-mentioned group of companies are involved in various other industries ranging from airlines to banking, construction, alcoholic distillery, agribusiness, food, and art supplies.
